Vervret Monkeys are a small black-faced monkey common in East Africa. Typically their body is either a greenish-olive color or a silver-grey color, and their face, ears, hands, feet and tip of the tail are all black. They travel in complex but stable social groups from around ten to fifty females and babies, while the larger males often roam free and independently. While they are vulnerable to many predators due to their small size, their agile and quick nature make them highly adapted to all regions of Kenya. Most humans view them as pests -they frequently raid crops, and steal or beg for food.
