In Matanya, a small rural village near the base of Mount Kenya, in Kenya, East Africa, four year-old Wamuyu poses in a dress donated by Matanya's Hope non-profit based in the USA. She is the youngest student in the Matanya's Hope sponsorship program. Blue is trademark for the color painted on a majority of doorways and shutters on houses in the area. The houses are made from timber, iron sheets, or a combination of Dung and Ash.
